Ramoji Film City Hyderabad – Getting to Know Largest Film City in the World

Hi friends, be ready for a tour of Ramoji Film city. After the soothing atmosphere of Chilkur Balaji Temple, I was in the mood to see the hustle and bustle at the film city. All my life I had heard about the famous film city and today was an opportunity to fulfill one of my secret and cherished dreams.

The Ramoji Film city is located in a small Anajpur village of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded by the late Ramoji Rao in the year 1996 and extends to a distance of 1,666 acres. It has the distinction of being the largest film city in the world. The Ramoji Film City has become a very popular tourist spot where people from every state and country come to experience its attractions. Its recreation center both has artificial and natural attractions of which the Amusement park takes precedence over all others. Here people come with million dreams and they just need a proper push to fulfill their desires. The film making facilities are of world-class quality.

Guinness world records organization has certified it as being the largest film studio of the world. It is said that if a person has a script then he can walk out of the studio with a film because each and every requirement can be fulfilled over here. It is a film maker’s dream of paradise as the studio contains outstanding infrastructures, dreamscape avenues, picturesque sites and latest technology. Numerous films in most of the languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Oriya, English, Bhojpuri and even TV serials and advertisements have all been shot here every year after year. The Ramoji Group has been associated and linked with the Indian cinema and has produced more than 80 films and that too in several different languages like Marathi, Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu etc. It has its own official website providing where all the available information is posted.

Ramoji film city is so vastly extended that it becomes very difficult to see everything in one day but due to the shortage of time we had to manage sum how. It was a memorable experience.
