Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park – A Place for Recreation, Keeping You Inspired

August 25, 2014

Working for IT industry makes you quite lazy and the shifting duties makes you forget the normal routine of life. You will feel your life to be running according to your office shifts. Thus, waking up early and going for morning walks seem to be a fairy tale when you have to return home either at late hours or early in the morning. Thus when I go for a vacation I try to utilise maximum time in revitalising myself by exploring new places. Visiting many tourist destinations at Hyderabad I have heard about the Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park and decided to have look of it. People use to go for nice walks over there.

So I also went for the national park to have some fresh air in the early morning. There you will encounter a big park with plenty of flora. It is very well maintained. Best thing about this park is, there are nice markings at every 0.25 km, so that walkers can know exactly how much distance they walked. If you are tired while walking, sitting arrangements are there where you can rest and sit under the shadow of large trees. On the way, you can come across peacocks inside this park which is a mesmerizing sight to behold. There are long walkways in and around the park.

People who are conscious about their health can also do yoga and meditation in this park. Though water bottles are not allowed inside the park but there are juice stalls outside the park that sells fresh fruit juices, hot lemon water and vegetable juices. It provides a breath of fresh air to people who are tired of inhaling the polluted air of the crowded cities. There are other animals like jungle cat, pangolin, porcupine and a number of birds, butterflies and reptiles. A few water bodies are there for providing water supply to these animals. If you want to spend a chilled out time and have a nice walk through the shady trees and little animals Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park is a perfect choice for you. In fact, going for a morning walk after a while also gave me a refreshing feeling.
