The Singalila National Park Darjeeling is situated right at the Indomalaya ecozone, and the major biomes at this particular ecozone are the Eastern Himalayan subalpine conifer forests, Eastern Himalayan broadleaf forests, and Himalayan subtropical pine forests etc.

This preserved forest consist of many varieties like thick bamboo, magnolia, oak, and rhododendron forests of about 2000 and 3600 m, covering the entire Singalila Ridge. The major two seasons of wildflower bloom are March to April Spring season and also the post-monsoon season during October month.

There are also many varieties of mammals and birds like Red Panda, Barking Deer, Leopard Cat, Wild Boar, Pangolin Yellow-throated Marten, Pika, Scarlet Minivet, Blood Pheasant, Kalij Pheasant, Brown and Fulvous Parrotbills, Satyr Tragopan, and Rufous-vented Tit etc. There are different rare species of reptiles and amphibians also in this naturally preserved region.

I explored the enchanting nature in this national park. There were truly various vacationers present around. The inclination being in such a huge zoological park was stunning. Having seen untamed life parks like these on TV programs, I generally needed to experience going to one of them in my life. Singalila National Park helped me understand this wish.
